Booking a holiday?
The practice nurse team are available to offer expert advice about travel abroad and how to keep healthy whilst travelling. This will include finding out which countries and areas within countries you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. Please look at our clinics & services for more information about specific destinations and a form to complete and send to us online or bring into the surgery. A nurse will then contact you to make an appointment. Please give us as much notice as you can - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as the vaccines have to be ordered specifically and are not kept in stock. They also have to have sufficient time to work once you have been vaccinated.
Do you need an emergency appointment?
If you need an urgent appointment today please telephone the surgery as soon as possible. Your call will be triaged which means that a doctor will call you back, assess your problem and decide upon the best way for you to be treated. This may mean that the doctor will deal with your problem over the phone or may make an appointment for you to come into the surgery. All patients who need to be seen urgently WILL be seen.
Get Well, Keep Well
Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
All our consulting rooms are accessible to patients using a wheelchair. We also have a number of parking spaces outside the practice reserved for patients displaying a disabled badge. There is a lift available for access to rooms on the first floor of the health centre and disabled toilet facilities are available on both the ground and first floors.
For patients with hearing problems, there is an induction loop in the reception area.
