Training

Hannage Brook Medical Centre has been a training practice for over 20 years and is actively involved in training doctors to be GPs. Young GPs help to bring the latest medical knowledge and enthusiasm into the practice. These doctors (GP Registrars) are fully qualified, but have until now had most of their experience in hospitals. The GP Registrars may sometimes observe another doctor’s consultations. This is very helpful for their training, but you will always be asked if you consent to their being present during your consultation. Please tell reception or your doctor if you would prefer this not to happen.

From time to time we also have other health care professionals, such as nurses, training with us.
